How do I book a trial lesson?

Our trial lesson is 1.5 hours long.

We believe it’s never too early or too late to start fencing! Our trial fencing classes are grouped according to age:

  • 5- to 7-year-olds
  • 8- to 11-year-olds
  • 12-year-olds and up

We also welcome teenagers and adults of all ages who are keen to pick up this exciting sport in Singapore.

Our trial class costs SG$39.

If you’re ready to dive in, our popular beginner group training programme is SG$315 for an 8-lesson term, with each session lasting 1.5 hours. 

For those who prefer personalised attention, our private 1-on-1 fencing training is SG$900 for 10 sessions, with each session lasting 45 minutes.

Absolutely not! Our trial class in Singapore is specifically designed for individuals with no prior fencing experience. Our expert coaches will guide you through all the fundamentals from scratch, ensuring a comfortable and effective learning experience.

Our trial class is designed to be dynamic and engaging.

  • 30 minutes of physical activities: We kick off the session with invigorating warm-ups, anaerobic drills, and fun fencing-related games to get your body ready and energised.
  • 30 minutes of fencing-related activities: This segment focuses on essential fencing techniques, including footwork drills, bladework practice, wall target exercises, and occasionally, personalised 1-on-1 coaching.
  • 30 minutes of sparring bouts: Here’s where the excitement happens! Fencers will pit their skills against their peers, applying what they’ve learned in actual fencing bouts in a safe and supervised environment.

We hold all our fencing lessons, including trial classes, beginner classes, individual classes, and sparring sessions at Yeo’s Building – 2 Telok Blangah Street 31, Singapore 108942. The nearest MRT station (Telok Blangah or Labrador Park) is a 10-minute walk away.

Our trial class will focus on introducing you to the techniques and strategies specific to epee fencing, which is known for its emphasis on precision and full-body target area. We do not teach Foil or Sabre.

For your first fencing class, please come dressed in comfortable athletic attire (e.g., t-shirt and track pants/shorts) and sports shoes suitable for indoor activity. Due to Singapore’s hot weather, we recommend bringing a full water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the session.
